On September 5, 1982, eight people were murdered on a fishing boat in Craig, AK. Two murder trials resulted, but no one has ever been convicted of the crime.
Almost 41 years later, the murder of Mark Coulthurst and his pregnant wife, Irene, along with their children Kimberly, 5, and John, 4, and four deckhands — Chris Heyman, 17; and Jerome Keown, Dean Moon and Mike Stewart, all 19 — remains Alaska's worst unsolved mass homicide.
