Season 3, Episode 12: Jeffrey MacDonald Part 1...Victim or Murderer?

In the early morning hours on February 17th, 1970, dispatchers at Fort Bragg, N.C. received an emergency call from Jeffrey MacDonald, who reported a stabbing at his residence.  When Military Police arrived at the residence they found MacDonald, unconscious, next to his  pregnant wife, Colette and their two young daughters in their bedrooms.  Colette and the girls were brutally murdered. MacDonald claims a group of four hippies attacked him and murdered his family, but Investigators tell a different story.  This is the longest- running criminal case in U.S. history, and one of the most horrifying murder cases of it's time.  This crime has fascinated and outraged everyone for over 50 years.  What is the truth? Was there a fatal flaw in the prosecution or a fatal flaw in Jeffrey MacDonald?
